Skiers travel at around 80 km/h (50 mph), doing their best to avoid crashing into rocks or trees, or falling into crevasses or off the edge of the mountain itself. And there is the danger of avalanche. Big wave surfing The most spectacular types of surfing where experienced surfers ride waves 9 m (30 ft) high. The upside is an incredible adrenaline rush. The downside is that a breaking wave can push a surfer down 15 meters under the water. The surfer has less than 20 seconds to get back to the surface before another wave hits… Sky diving This features the record breaking biggest connected formation of 2006. Four hundred people from 31 countries formed a flower shape 7,000 m (23,000 ft) up in the sky over Thailand. They wore the colours of the Thai flag – red, white and blue. They didn’t win the record the first time they jumped. Someone was in the wrong place. So they had to go up and do it again.
